Best Crime Solving/Detective Games

Post by cabrando »

What are some of the best examples of games in this genre?

I'd imagine the PC/DS would be suited best for these types of games

When I first got my Sega CD, I was about the Sherlock Holmes game. I remember all the cases, so if I replayed them, I couldn't tell you if it still holds up.

The best detective games don't see to be detective-themed. Games like Silent Hill and the earlier Resident Evil games seem to have the most detective work.

...and I haven't started playing it yet. Haha. So I'll let you know. But it sounded cool enough for me to hunt it down.

You have to play the Laura Bow games from Sierra. They're some of Sierra's best adventure games, and largely overlooked. Do not miss these.

Deja Vu is awesome, I havent played the second. But it is worth finding them on something where you can use a mouse.
