Nice piece on the PS3 and backwards compatibility (oh and a quote from me...) :)

Forgotten? I didn't forget it at all. The only PS3 I have is a 60GB model.

I'll go read the article now. ;)

Sometimes I do that. Luckly, I don't always do that. Otherwise I'd have a few surprise children to support!

If my 60 gig breaks, I will have to figure out a way to get it fixed/replaced. I refuse to buy any other model.

Exactly why I picked up one of these right before the 80GB models came out. I'd much rather have one of these over a Slim.

Great article.. I was reading this last night and saw racketboy quote.. This is one of the few times I was glad to be an early adopter of tech especially the 60 GB PS3 after all the features that got taken away as new SKU's started to replace original models.. I would never get another model!! I also agree I like to have the least amount of systems out as possible that I can and store others away to save entertainment space..8)

I love my 60GB, but I hardly ever use it for PS2 games. I have a slim PS2 for that. I don't mind the lack of upscaling, since I use my PS2 on a HD CRT Sony, although I suppose some people could benefit from that feature. My PS3 is hooked up to my home theater in a different room, a luxury most people don't have...
