I'm one of the clowns in the video and am friends with most of the other clowns too. A girl I was friends with was dating the drummer at the time. I'm the guy in the shades with the ? on his shirt. You can only see me in two cuts that last about a second each, but I was there for most of the shoot.
The local news station did a short segment on my friend and me back in 1998 when we won 2nd place in the Canada skills competition for 3D animation. His website has the (pretty bad by todays standards) videos we made - http://www.straycatknack.com/
I once was head of the most famous sport's forum in my country that every one looked up to. As a matter of fact in a way , I lit the spark of sport forums in my country and every one followed. Truth is another one did exist before me but it was almost dead. I had like 1 line quote in the newspaper when my football club scored a championship.
I've been interviewed for news programs as a kid before. Had my picture taken for the newspaper, etc... oh and I was in the PBS movie Crackerman shot locally in Opelika and other areas of Alabama.
I'm also famous on the internet for for fooling dudes that I am a dude ;>
I worked at the local skate park and coached little league hockey there as well. Greenville, NC is actually home to some of the world's best BMX'rs. I could give two shits about bmx, even though some of the guys make millions a year; they ride a bike for a living. Anyway, working at the skate park I got be pretty good friends with some pros like Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist. On the weekends we would go downtown, get free drinks left and right, ride around in a limo, and pick up girls with ease. It kind of turns you into a douche nozzle though. Don't get me wrong, Nyquist is an awesome sincere and caring person, but Mirra on the other hand... Every club we went to, he expected to get in for free. When someone would ask for the door fee he'd say "But I'm Dave Mirra". He doesn't get that not everyone on Earth knows who he is. Big fish in a small pond.
That said, it was fun for a few years, but got old and meaningless really quick.
