I haven't been hyped for a new game since the Orange Box

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Only recent one for me was Punch-Out Wii. That one delivered, but I backed off it a while back (normal for me -- short attention span)

SF IV had me hyped for a little while, but wasn't as great as some people make it out to be.
KOF XII seems nice, but not blockbuster (maybe next few installments)

If they throw in a level creator - possible but not likely - itll probably be in my Wii until it stops working. My older brother and his wife are buying a Wii because of that game so I have high hopes for it.

yeah same for me (i kinda preordered it) although i still think its gonna fall short somewhere because the is Square-enix We're talking about. Im getting it for the nostalgia factor and i tried the demo and i enjoyed it. even in the demo although i have found some faults. sometimes it feels like the game plays it self. for instance just pressing one button does a few attacks in a row. i kinda wish enix and squaresoft were never merged....i wonder what they would be like today if so......but at least the demo still fun as far as i can tell.

Just preordered that. Also convinced my manager, and three of my friends to preorder it as well. We played the shit out of tekken 5 all throughout highschool. Definitely looking forward to that. It doesn't even matter to me if it's tekken 5.5. As long as they add a ludicrous amount of customizable parts and the "adventure mode" is an improved version of tekken force mode, I'm elated.

Oh its gonna be great for sure. And the adventure mode has online and offline coop right? It must be pretty damn hard to improve such an amazing game at this point, especially after 5. Too bad Soul Calibur only gets worse IMO.

There's pretty much nothing I'm hyped for. Batman has a small chance of being excellent. It'll probably get super repetitive after 2 hours though. Borderlands might be good, because Gearbox knows their way around an FPS, so if anyone can finally merge that with an online RPG mechanic, they can.

Don't care about all these uninspired sequels which are sure to sell many millions regardless.
