Do you ever just want to smack some sellers?
Re: Do you ever just want to smack some sellers?
The sellers I really want to smack are the ones on Amazon who think that their game is collectible because it comes with a dust cover.

I don't understand? Do you actually want these sports games?girlracer wrote:I always check my local craigslist for games, but here lately i've been seeing a person with a list of games like ps2 sports games and they want $5 each. I just want to smack these people.
The old saying goes that everything is worth what it's purchaser will pay for it.
I sold some N64 games to a nice young couple yesterday who had just bought their system with a few controllers for $80.
Don't ask me about the price

Gotta love how nearly every game on Ebay is "rare".

It's a free country, they can charge what they want, sheesh.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
Re: Do you ever just want to smack some sellers?
you think YOU have it bad there in the US of A? Try my beatifully raindy drabby country The Netherlands. Land of the stingy and disillusioned when it comes to used goods. Ebay is pretty much flat on its face when it comes to anything interesting here. Instead our local craigslist called marktplaats (marketplace) brings us the wonders of second hand goods. An original xbox 6 months old allegedly being sold as an xbox360 with 26 games which at a first glance reveals at least 5 duplicates. All for the wonderfull price of 250 euros. Thats $354 for you that live on the good side of the atlantic. The site actually has a "bid" function which pretty much every add uses. But bidding a reasonable price will almost always result in the bid being removed within hours by the seller and an angry email stating low bids are insane, and punishable by death.
