Facial Hair.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Bahahaha, oh wow that's fantastic. We had one confirmed active female user and it just turns out to be one poor soul who was lured here by you. Great job.

I think I'm either missing something in the meaning of her comment or I'm just really off today, because I don't understand this. Did her comment suggest that she HAS facial hair, or are you suggesting that her interpreting clean shaved men in this way makes her a pariah among females? I'm not trying to start anything; I just truly want to understand what you mean.
Nah, the confusion stemmed from how she just copy pasted what was said above instead of using the quote button. Made me think she was telling us how she saves her face. I didn't see the post above where it was taken from. Funny all around though.

She wasn't lured at all, she took an active interest and she likes the place.

Technically, you are the lure in the equation, whether you like it or not, and if it weren't for you, she wouldn't be here. That's what I find so funny about this. We have thousands of users, all male, plus one guy's girlfriend. Math is fun. This is just fuel to my argument that gamer girls are astronomically sparse.

Maybe. Maybe they just aren't into retro gaming. Maybe your attitude towards women drives them away. I know we have at least one other female here regularly, and a few others have shown up from time to time.

Next time somebody comments on my 'goatee' regardless of what facial hair they have I'm gonna fucking say "nice mutton chops". And yes, that includes females.
I'm willing to blame this on Americans further bastardizing the Queen's English.

If Ack is the one who lured her, and I am the one who lured Ack, and Racket is the one who lured me...

Haha, right yeah it's me that drives them away. Just like how you said I've driven away all the users who stopped posting. It's not like people ever leave an internet forum for normal reasons.

Assuming my attitude towards women actually was bad, how often do I say something about women? One of every 150-200 posts. So let's say half a percent. So it's half a percent of the 4% of the entire forum that my posts make up. Let's be fruitful in our estimation and assume we have 3-4 secret female users. How many posts does the average reader read in full per day? Like 20? You see where I'm going with this? Again, math is fun. Learn some.

You are so illogical when you're defensive.

Actually Moz, I know of a few folks who left because of you, and I know a few others who have considered it.

I've maybe been clean shaved less than 10 times since I was a junior in high school. Had a full beard for most of my senior year. I don't always sport a full beard, but something always on my upper lip because I really don't have one and look like i'm 15 without any facial hair. I believe my wife has only seen me clean shaved once in our 6 years overall together and she told me to grow something back as soon as she saw what I really looked like, so I'm still not sure how to take that...
