The Beatles are definitely my favorite band. It's cliche, I know, but they're just great. Some other favorites are Modest Mouse, Streetlight Manifesto, Franz Ferdinand, Fall Out Boy, Flight of the Conchords, Hideki Naganuma (and basically anything from Jet Set Radio), The Steve Miller Band, Mike Relm, Led Zeppelin, Reel Big Fish, Fleet Foxes, The Cure, Michael Jackson, Vampire Weekend, Weezer, and lately Sugar Ray. To name a few.
I'm one of those people who really doesn't like heavy metal. I also can't stand country or rap. Yuck.
I pretty much like everything that was considered rock from the 60-90's. Wont even bother listing them all since they have been a few times already. I don't think I saw Thin Lizzy or Boston on any ones list though. I like a lot of pop-rock from the 80's and 90's. I like old school rap like Run DMC but hate any current form of rap. I also dig scores by John Williams, that guy is a genius. I scanned through rather fast but did any one put Red Hot Chili Peppers? They're one of my favorite bands. Incubus is another. My favorite band is Rage Against the Machine, and I finally had the pleasure of seeing them live on one of their few reunion concerts (literally a dream come true).
i just want to say that i absolutely despise metalcore. but about 3 years ago i saw the band every time i die, and to this day, that was one of the best performances i've witnessed.
Oh, come on, don't leave your uncle T-Bag hangin'!

REPO Man wrote:Anyone here listen to The Cramps? I've got their song "Surfin Dead" on my iPod and some of their MVs ("Ultra Twist", "Like a Bad Girl Should", "Naked Girl Falling Down the Stairs", and "Bikini Girls with Machine Guns") on my PSP.
I started listening to them sometime after reading Rue Morgue's tribute to Lux Interor, who passed away in February.
If so, can anyone tell me which album(s) to start off with?
