Star Trek TNG, I guess. Almost any cartoon show I will watch.

I don't have cable so I usually go online to find random episodes of stuff- that's how I got to see Lost, The Office, and Pushing Daisies...

Yeah I'm a big Futurama fan as well. Strangely enough I don't like the Simpsons at all.

Futurama news:

"sources indicated that the voice actors had been seeking at least a tenfold increase of what they made when the animated series ran on Fox from 1999-2003."

"the SDCC panel will feature a big announcement from an executive as well as Groening, Cohen, & the main cast." -could be a publicity stunt.

Billy West, who's usually very vocal on his message board hasn't said a word about this. Also, the casting agency that's listed as being in charge of the recasting sends an automated response asking for people to email in clips of yourself doing the characters voices as an audition. Doesn't really seem like the way its done, but who knows. Also, for the reasons I listed in my previous post, I don't think that the cast could really believe that asking for 10x more than their previous salary on a recently resurrected show would yield positive results for them. Add to that the fact that the original cast is still scheduled to appear at SDCC despite everything.

I really enjoyed the first season of the IT Crowd. British sitcoms are usually superior to their US counterparts, and yes that includes the BBC's The Office, but British comedy is admittedly an acquired taste. Most newer US sitcoms are cringeworthy but I catch reruns of shows like Family Matters and Seinfeld whenever they're on.

Well the classic style laugh track sitcoms are definitely dying off. Not an entirely bad thing though.

I watch:

The Office
Flight of the Conchords
Curb your enthusiasm (both when they show up on dvd, I dont' have hbo)
It's always sunny

Non-comedies:

Fringe - although they've stupidly moved this to thursday when the office is on, so that could be the end if I don't get a dvr.
Heroes (yeah it's gotten really bad but it has its moments)
Burn Notice
Breaking Bad

Then between seinfeld reruns, malcom reruns, jeopardy, and wheel of fortune, that's more than enough tv for me.

I hardly watch sitcoms either, but man...really? Survivor? I'm sorry.

My favorite show of all time is X-Files, followed by stuff like cartoons from the 80s and 90s, stuff like Farscape, classics like Knightrider, etc., etc.

As for sitcoms, I'll gladly watch The Simpsons any day, and for live action stuff I was a fan of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but really that's it.

Yeah I know. I just get real into Survivor lol. I also dig cartoons from the 60s,70s and 80s and ofcourse Star Trek. I have alot of stuff on DVD I watch so I do use the television. I really like Xena, Hercules, Cleopatra 2525, Andromeda and the like. Just not very much current stuff I enjoy.

I cant recommend the IT Crowd enough.

As for Futurama, one of the head animators will be at Dragoncon this year. I have been asked to be on a panel with her by the track director, so if nothing comes out of SDCC I should have a scoop by September. She said she will have mostly finished clips with her along with some other goodies.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, 30 Rock, My Name is Earl, The I.T. Crowd (great British sitcom), The Sarah Silverman Program, Scrubs, etc.

If those aren't enough for you, you can catch re-runs of The Simpsons, Arrested Development (actually you'd do better to pick up the DVD's for this one), That 70's Show, Seinfeld, Friends, Futurama, and more.

YES. The I.T. Crowd is a must-watch, especially for nerd-types.
