These are my two fave sitcoms of all time, too. Can't wait for Curb to come back and for the AD movie!

As for current sitcoms, I watch The Office and that's it - although that show has gone downhill over the past few seasons as well...

Completely with you on both of these, love Seinfeld to. you should give the 3 I mentioned above a try, you'd probably dig them. some of the staff writers on 'Arrested' now write on '30 Rock'

A friend recently loaned me Flight of the Conchords. It's not bad and definitely has some really funny moments.

My brother keeps recommending Always Sunny In Philadelphia, so I'll check that out eventually.

Is 30 Rock as obscure and oddball as Arrested Development? I can't stand comedies that even attempt to take themselves seriously.

Also, is the Arrested Development movie still in the works? I haven't heard anything in a while.

futurama is the best animated sitcom.. though its brand of humor i consider too unique to be branded with that stereotype. as for live action, scrubs is pretty cool.

Sitcoms are still everywhere. Some I absolutely love, and others that I detest, but are still widely popular. If you're not watching The Office, you're missing out.

Watch:
The Office
Flight of the Conchords
Arrested Development
My Boys (very underrated)
Reaper
10 Items or Less
Chuck
My Name is Earl (it'll get picked up by someone)
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Futurama (It's been picked up again. Not a favorite of mine, but watchable)
Entourage
The Sarah Silverman Show
Weeds
*edit* It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Watch (although I can't swallow a minute of these, they're a hit with the majority):
Scrubs
30 Rock
Two and a Half Men
The Big Bang Theory
How I met your Mother
United States Of Tara
The New Adventures Of Old Christine
Samantha Who
Family Guy (ugh)

These are just ones off the top of my head, so yeah, there are still a ton of sitcoms out there. But as always, few good ones.

I hardly watch sitcoms either, but man...really? Survivor? I'm sorry.

My favorite show of all time is X-Files, followed by stuff like cartoons from the 80s and 90s, stuff like Farscape, classics like Knightrider, etc., etc.

As for sitcoms, I'll gladly watch The Simpsons any day, and for live action stuff I was a fan of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but really that's it.

Yay! Glad to see some more people who watch The Office around :) Personally it's the only sitcom that I watch on a regular basis. I used to watch Arrested Development, great stuff there too. Other than that all I can say is that I still watch South Park whenever the new episodes start running.
