Sega or Nintendo?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Aren't these threads supposed to get locked or deleted?

Seriously both companies old machines up to where the rivalry ended with the DC can all be purchased with a few good games for under a hundred bucks, and I'm starting to get sick of pointless fanboy-ism when it no longer even has a suitable (if any) reason for being there.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

I actually feel this way too. There's no reason to not have both, they've both got impressive collections of games. However, I started out with Nintendo, so there's no going back for me. I think that whatever you had first, you became attached to. These consoles shaped everything we liked about games at an impressionable age, from graphics, gameplay, even to preferences for video game music. This has at least been my experience, anyway.

I was just a little guy when those ads came out, but I'm pretty sure the "Sega does what Nintendon't" line was aimed at the original NES.

Anyways, I like Nintendo and Sega a whole lot.

Nintendo.

I still can't believe how pathetically managed Sega was.

At this point in time? Neither.

Neither company cares about me as a gamer so I can only return the favor.

Now, if you're talking about the last half of the 90s? Sega, hands down.
Before about 1995? I would have to go with Nintendo.

I'm on the fence with this. Whats weird is I tend to favor Nintendo, but I own more Sega stuff. Maybe because it tends to be cheaper than Nintendo stuff.
