I'm suspended on gamefaqs :(
I was joking that I was under the age of 13, and someone took it seriously. Now I'm suspended, and due to have my account reviewed by an administrator in the next 24 hours. I'm hoping that they realize that I'm not that young by the fact I don't have terrible spelling and grammar. I even posted a message right after the message that got me suspended saying that it was a joke, but it went unheeded apparently. What do you think my chances of coming out of this unbanned are?

For underaged they usually require you to provide proof.

You just got banned from the worst online gaming forum. So what exactly is the problem?

Well, most of the forums they have are awful, especially Current Events, but I love the Random Insanity forum.Flak Beard wrote:You just got banned from the worst online gaming forum. So what exactly is the problem?

Yeah, they want me to show them my school ID for proof, but I'm home-schooled, so I don't know if I even have one. And I don't know were my government issued ID is either.fast wrote:For underaged they usually require you to provide proof.

Gamefaqs use to be heavy on the IP banning. So if they still do that you maybe sol.

Firstly, I have been to an regular school before, I haven't always been home schooled, and I know for a fact they don't teach proper forum etiquette there.opticledilusi0n wrote:look what your shenanigans got you

Secondly, can I really just create a new account? I figured that it would be banned by association with my IP address. Do they just ban the one underaged account, rather than IP ban you?

Re: I'm suspended on gamefaqs :(
Your IP can change, so it shouldn't really be a problem if they IP ban you.
Try unplugging the power from your modem for 5 minutes or so. This may result in an IP change.

True a dynamic ip address is fairly easy to change, but it is annoying.
