So, I got House of the Dead III for my Xbox. The only problem is that the standard light guns won't work on my 42" LCD HDTV. I've heard of LCD TopGun, which can be found at Play-Asia but it's out of stock and out of stock everywhere else I could find it (including eBay).
Are there any alternatives or ways I can play House of the Dead III with a Light Gun on my LCD? Or is there anywhere else I can buy this LCD TopGun? Ideally, I would want 2 of them. (At a decent price,.... no $70.00 shipping)
Yes, I've Googled. Found tons of topics but all of them were irrelevant or old. I was hoping somebody maybe found a solution or a place to buy this LCD TopGun.
Xbox Light guns for HDTVs? LCDs?

Looks in stock to me. That is the TopGun II, not sure what the difference is but it should work just fine for your needs!

Hmm, I see. Thanks for that... anybody know if there's any difference with this one? I'm anxious now that you found this for me.... but cautious too because I'm more familiar with the LCD TopGun. Is this one okay for what I want?andymol21 wrote:http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-1i- ... -2vss.html

I think it is exactly the same, but I must admit I have never owned one. It will work I'm sure, but it is your money!

That gun isn't your best bet, it is your only bet.
As far as I know that is the only light gun that works with LCD tech that isn't the guncon3.
If you do pick it up, tell us how it is. I've been thinking of getting one for a while.

I think I may order it next week or so. Did some more research and it seems you guys may be right, in fact, the TopGun II is actually improved/better than the first one. I may write some sort of review in this thread in the near future.nickfil wrote:If you do pick it up, tell us how it is. I've been thinking of getting one for a while.

I have a pair of these; be sure to do the hardware calibration before you do the game in-game calibration. I was baffled for weeks before I realized that I needed to do hardware calibration first. :p
