Super Mario Bros. Wii has me the most excited, mainly because I think I'll be able to coax my wife into playing. The Metroid game looks like it could be pretty sweet as well.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 looks good. . . but I still need to finish the first one.
The Metroid game looks good, but if it's mostly fps I won't bother.
If Mario Bros Wii is not just a port of the ds version and it has a good single player mode I'll probably get it.
Xbox was dissapointing. The only exclusive that I can even remember was Alan Wake which looks exactly like I've been expecting it to since they announced it 3 years ago. No surprises there. . .
Natal looks. . . interestingish. I've gotten my fill of motion controls with the wii already though.
PS3 has that last guardian game which looked cool. Plus Uncharted 2. There's still not enough for ps3 that I can't get on xbox though so there's no reason for me to buy one yet. I can't believe they didn't announce a price drop. I was also dissapointed there's still no new jak and daxter game coming. I'm seriously not buying one of these things until it's $150 and comes in a slim version.

E3 2009 was much better than has been in years.. I saw many games I'm excited for but unfortunately most not till 2010.. I saw a good amount of surprises like Final Fantasy XIV, Golden Sun DS, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M despite all the leaks of early trailers, announcements, etc...
The game at top of my list is Final Fantasy XIII on PS3. I can't wait to get it..
My enthusiasm about the upcoming months for remainder of 2009 has a good amount of games but less than coming into 2010...

Technically it's not exclusive, since it's on the PC as well. But I'm slowly learning that people will call a game exclusive if it's PC and a single console.Xbox was dissapointing. I only watch Microsoft and half of Sony's conference, I got an idea about Nintendo.
Microsoft really great stuff, as I expected it is just going to continue pumping quality games. I think Assassin Creed 2 is the game we all meant to play, cause I see they fixed the repetition in gameplay in it the guy was focusing on saying there are variety of things to do, but I like the middle east old theme better, but for something different the old Italy thing is exactly right. Natal is a lie , there is no way you hand an electronic boy a paper that he takes it and interpret what you drew on the paper. He also can't talk, I believe artificial intelligence is not here. As far as I know not even voice command in computers is done right, let alone conversations. That kind of thing is too advnaced for Star Wars.
I am not sure how the camera works in Natal but I think it might be able to capture motion but there is a catch, maybe its slow. But interesting non the less.
Sony I watched only half of it. I was hateful of Sony when they first came out with high price point and cocky attitude. I am glad how things turned out to them being 3rd in the console race(kind of the thing that Happened with Nintendo on N64 maybe, or gamecube) . I hope they learn their lessons and stop lying about technology they won't deliver(Sure, ps3 has the most super chip ever, it just can't produce anything really better than the 360 released a whole year earlier with regular chips) if they stopped doing it maybe we still have a Dreamcast.
Though I started feeling sorry for them and now I am glad they are all better with price drop and original games like Drake Fortune , so it is worth it a bit now.
Playstation officials always talk about how much exclusive content they got, but their exclusives are like stuff that is not important. For example, sure you might have GT but Forza is just as good and it is exclusive on the 360 too. There are more examples. For me exclusives are games that are important enough to make you different. Sonic for genesis, Mario for Wii, Halo for 360, GoW for ps3.
Killzone and Resistance are really good, but they are another shooter.
I am also amazed that FF14 is announced with footage to be released in 2010 as I heard, while FF13 is still not out. What is Square thinking really?
Nintendo really really sucks. While I was hoping for new IP's , we are only getting the good stuff of the 80's . More Mario, more Zelda, another Metroid, another Mario bundle, another Zelda....STOP! Its really getting on my nerves. Do we really need a Mario Galaxy 2? its not a bad game, its fairly new and really good why would you make another one. My guess? Nintendo got no new ideas on how to keep their consumer base, just put out anything with Mario face on it. More peripherals , milk that cow, another non-useful extension. New Mario Bros? Really? Nintendo must be really relaly innovative, although I like 4 player , since we haven't seen those in years playing together.

1)Microsoft always tries to look unique with exclusive downloadable content. Does it really matter that extra map or downloadable attire to stop thinking about a ps3?
2)Sony talks about a 10 year life cycle , seriously ? I do not think that is going to happen. 360 is flawed with RRoD and the graphics is already outdated by the PC. The Wii is retarded technology wise with no-HD, small storage space, and bad online system. Sure they will bring out new systems in less than 10 years, will Sony fight the next generation with ps3? They were successful with ps1/ps2 with that idea, but that is when they were 5 times as popular as the other consoles, not when they are 3rd in the console race.
I still can't believe ps2 is getting new games! Really big Kudos.
3)I really wish Nintendo fails miserably and go in debt for a 100 billion dollars, just so they start boosting new ideas and new IPs. But even then , I will know what they will do. Another Mario game...
I don't hate Nintendo, I just want to see my Wii in full potential.
I think motion control gameplay will be really successful on Sport activities in the future and will make the videogame's pie a lot larger with people using them to exercise .

I have to ask. What's so bad about another Mario game, or another Metroid? You can't praise Forza 3 and Assassin's Creed 2 while complaining that Nintendo doesn't have new IPs. And honestly, let's say we take the gameplay from Mario Galaxy 2, but put a different character there? Would that make it acceptable, since now it's a new IP?

While we have Assassin Creed 2, Bioshock 2, we also have GTA 4, COD 4, Gears 2, RE5, Final Fantasy, SF4.
It is called variety , Wii's only triple A titles are Nintendo's, and people are buying for the motion control
Now that motion control will be on other consoles, the only advantage of Nintendo is price and their original IPs.

I think those motion experiments will fail. The Wii is already dominating that field and will achieve the same perfection via the cheap Wii Motion Plus while Microsoft will have a pretty bad time selling Natal (Or making games for it) and Sony is too far behind the console race so as to be able to sell it IMHO.
And kingmohd84, there's as much variety in Nintendo as in Microsoft.

COD 4 => Call of Duty whatever it's called
Gears 2 => You alredy pointed two shooters
RE5 => You already pointed three shooters

I am not sure how you compare Mario to Assassin Creed and Zelda to GTA
but I understand they are different in gameplay(the Nintendo IPs)
What I am saying is that we have been playing Zelda and Mario since the 80's and I am kind of tired of saving the princess for the 20th time. Assassin Creed and Bioshock are fresh content, I need something with different time and place, a new story to enjoy.
I am glad Mario and Zelda are still top quality, but we need more top quality games from other develoers. New IP's basically. More stuff like NMH and The Conduit. But the new stuff is never triple A on the Wii, I do not know why.
