Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Waoh! I didn't know this thread existed.
Some of you probably already know of my existance in this forum (as the annoying kid who asks too many questions.) Im a high school student, living in the states. I retro game mainly in the PS1, n64 era. (either the fifth or fourth generation. I don't quite remember which one...) I've started a collection of PS1, DC, and PS2 games. I'm probably going to end up collecting games for every other console once i'm out of college and have a job. I joined this forum about 2-3 weeks ago.
The PS1 was my very first system (received at age 6), and I have been attached to it ever since. It is said that I apparently have played a lot of SNES before then, but for some reason I can't quite grasp those memories.

Hi everyone! I'm Hugo, I'm from Portugal and I'm 26. I've found racketboy by chance and I have to say it's really good!

Hey guys - this is Nick from the Sega-16 boards; I've been reading Racketboy for a long time but it only recently occurred to me to check out the community. Looks like my kind of thing.
I'm 20 and I'm into Sega and arcade games - first system was a Genesis and my favorite is the Xbox. Gotta love FBA-XXX Pro!

Hmm--seems I've never actually come into this thread and greeted new users (still feeling like a new user myself)--so, hello and welcome to all of you!

What up? Name's Mike, 26 years of age, grew up on the Sega side of the Sega vs. Nintendo school yard argument. Although my first system was an NES, later got a Genisis, then a Sega CD. Next was a N64, cause damn Saturn was too damn expensive, but came back for Dreamcast. Owned an X Box for like a week for Shen Mue II, and had a 360 for like a month at one point. Last summer I got a Saturn finally, that's when I found this site, been lurking since. I also enjoy hip hop, cause I had the Jurassic 5 video on a Dreamcast demo disc.

I'm glad to be a member of this great site and thank god I finally got my account up and ready. I have plenty of games so you could say I am collector of games. I will use this site mostly to sell some items I really don't need, such as artbooks or games i didn't like. I like all kinds of games such as rpgs, action, and fighting. I am look forward to meet some of you guys and I hope I can learn a lot from you guys
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Joined today. My name is Luke (obviously) and I'm a huge fan of the 8 and 16 bit era. I'm originally from Chicago, but now live in Greenville, NC with my wife Emily, and our dog Ripley. I'm a financial adviser for a major investment firm, and despite the economy, we're in a growth mode. When I'm not working, I play with the dog, hang out with the wife (we got married in March), play retro games, play hockey, and hang out with friends while drinking a few cold ones and taking their money in SF2 bets. I'm also a sports nut.
I have a decent collection, but am looking to really flesh out my NES and SNES collections. I'll post pictures of my game room in the appropriate thread when I have the time.
I'll see you guys around the boards.
