What game is it and what type of Xbox drive do you have?

My Xbox had this a few years ago. It makes playing on it extremely annoying. The problem, if I remember correctly, is from a bad disk reader. I tried everything, even buying one of those cleaner kits from Gamespot they used to sell but nothing worked. Only way to fix it so to either get another Xbox, or buy a new drive for it and install it yourself. That error annoyed to no end. Started with many of the newer games for the Xbox and as time went on I couldn't even play some of my older games. I ended up trading it in. Hope it helps you! I feel your pain.

It may be your game or Xbox drive. It is interesting that only one game is causing you problems out of all the rest... 8)

I'd say it's an early sign of the dvd drive dying. It was the first sign a friend of mines xbox showed. Over time your load times will probably slowly get really bad and eventually more discs will stop working, and eventually it'll be unusable. You probably have a year or so before it totally dies, depending on how much you play.

I would encourage you to mod your xbox and put a large hard disk in it so you can play your games off the hard-drive.

^^^I agree. It's the best gaming choice you'll ever make, and if you can get an XBMC Samba stream going to your PC I doubt you'll ever touch the DVD drive again.

Mine basically gives that error on almost every copy I throw at it, have to load them on hard disk. But plays originals just fine. Your drive is failing, mod that bastard.
