I just came back from seeing Terminator Salvation. I went with 5 heads, 2 liked it(including myself), 2 hated it and one thought it was iight but could have been better. Don't wanna spoil but think of this more as a war movie then like the previous Terminator films that are more psychologically deeper.

all the ones i seen were the 90's godzilla and were all dubbed except Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2. But Godzilla vs Destoroyah is my favorite.

John Waters' "Multiple Maniacs". It's this DVD that I scored off of the torrent site Cinematik, which deals in weird and unusual films (it's where I also found a Dr. Caligari LD-to-DVD).

It was originally sourced from an old VHS, same as "Mondo Trasho", which I also got from the 'Tik.

The DVD also includes some special features, including the short "The Diane Linklater Story", with Divine as the title character.

Terminator Salvation is yet another early 21st century action flick: Utterly implausible (even for a scifi), easily forgettable (PG13 means no shock value), and totally predictable. 'Nuff said.

Taxi Driver, for the first time.. what Wizard said to Travis was so insightful in its crude, unsubtle way.

over the weekend I watched Yes Man and Taken. Yes Man was a nice return to the comedy that made Jim Carrey famous in the first place, though some of the slapstick felt a bit forced. Taken was a good action/spy/revenge film that I really enjoyed. I felt both were worth checking out.
