Atari Anthology: PS2 or XBox

So, I'm looking into buying another console. I figured I should get a PS2 or Original XBox since they both have a version of Atari Anthology. Of course, after buying the system I will get other games. My question is which port of Atari Anthology is better? Which system has better/more multiplayer games? Which system has more retro styled/remade/sequel games?

I would say get both.... the Ps2 has A LOT of titles available that were popular, and also its fair amount of collection discs. Most of the collection discs, that I can remember, actually came out on both PS2 and Xbox... like Megaman Anniversary Collection, hell Marvel Versus Capcom 2 came out for both. But the Xbox is also good for console specific games, but if you have a 360 you can probably run most of your favorite Xbox games anyways.

I guess its also how cheaply you can get those compilations for either system. I know Megaman Collection is slightly cheaper at most places on one console over the other, and so is MVc2.

You forgot Dreamcast before Gamecube, unless you somehow fit that into the ps1-n64 gen.

When I first came to the site you were making a Sega Saturn 2, stating you were a massive Sega fan. Then we had the picture of Bill Gates and how you loved Windows and all things Microsoft. Next came your love for the Playstation/PS2 and how it was the best console of all time. And now, the Gamecube is your favourite?

I have no idea what Atari Anthology is but I must say, get both! Honestly I'm not gonna say the Xbox is as good as the PS2. Far from it. But both systems have large amounts of High quality RPG's that are exclusive to each system. Also they both have a large number of high quality FPS's. All in all the PS2 is better for the RPG's and the Xbox is better for the FPS's. But seriously, just get both systems. Unless you're not a fan of RPG's and FPS's. In which case, buy a PS2. RPG's and FPS's pretty much sum up the entire library of good games for the Xbox with maybe one or two others in there. The PS2 has an extremely large variety of games in just about every genre. It just happens to excel at RPG's.
