Will they work on a generation nex console? Just bought one for this purpose (it was cheap, cheaper than a real nes) if so I am buying them and going for the high score

why not just emulate, don't they use roms to make these carts?

I hate to emulate when I can own a cart of anything and I like to play my console games on consoles on tvs. My pc is nice but the screen is small at 15inches and I suppose I could get a controller to work on it but still I like the idea of one of these carts or both. Likely going to use them for a competition or to also which in person around a tv and console makes more sense
