Can any one confirm this as true? that the Dreamcast Agetec arcade stick box is to small for Happ or Sanwa buttons?

Sanwa/Seimitsu sticks and buttons can fit inside.I'm not sure if Happ buttons fit,but the Happ sticks are really long so they probably won't.Sanwa sticks are only 2 inches deep that's why most people use them in arcade stick projects plus their one of the best sticks around,they are use in 90% of Japanese arcade fighters.

They're alright. Not sure what else to say since I'm not really an arcade stick connoisseur , but they work. I've only used mine on the PC though, and I heard there's some lag when playing on consoles. That's bad. D:
I would recommend buying two MAS sticks instead:

It'll cost you a bit more, but they use real arcade parts and there won't be any lag. You won't have to sit really close to the other person while playing, either.

I've played with X-Arcade for ages on the Dreamcast and never run into any lag.

If someone could tell me what systems the X lags on, lemme know. I'm considering getting the PS2 and PS3 adaptors and would like to know if I'm wasting my time. As it stands, though, I've never had trouble using the X-Arcade on either PC or DC.

How old is your unit?

*edit* I just reread the thread and saw that you have a tankstick...

I think the main problem was the encoders they used at first. That really gave them a bad name initially. I haven't had lag either (or just none that I noticed). I did read that there is a bit of lag involved with the PS2/PS3 adapters. I think that was due to the ps2->ps3 adapter itself.

Well, one of the main reasons I was so interested in the X-Arcade was because of its near universal nature - one stick for most machines. God knows, I already have enough arcade sticks for my SNES, Genesis and Saturn.

Plus, while I might have been able to afford custom sticks back in the day, I've been out of a job for more than a year now. Even the price of the X-Arcade adapters is a bit high for me right now.
