I started GTA Vice City. Which begs the question:

Started playing Dragon Quest V on the DS a few days ago.

I have been playing Dragon Quest 11 on my Switch for a bit now, as I have time. I really love the enemy designs and all the character animations. Sometimes the characters feel a tad weird, though, because they clearly did motion capture for movements but the facial expressions are still classic Dragon Quest, which creates for some weird mismatches occasionally. The individual stories are pretty standard DQ fare so far, and I've already hit the "ick" part of the game where you need to put a character in a bunny suit to be ogled by some old man. And one of the quests really bothered me because someone does a really horrible thing but it completely exonerated because it was for a "good cause". Ah well. I do really enjoy grinding because the AI auto-battle is pretty good. I'll leave just the character who can steal on commands and let everyone else go auto-pilot and make short work of EXP and gathering occasional loot.

The girl with the Vita you kill is playing Hotline Miami, and really, the whole theme of part 2 is a critique of violence.
What I find baffling is that you might play the game thinking that Ellie didn't know that Joel was a mass-murderer. But half way through the game, it turns out she already knew! She's one sick mofo.

I am still slowly plugging away at Dragon Quest 11S. The game is very accessible and even grinding is decently interesting. The auto-battle tactics are pretty good to boot.
