I'm graduating from college!

Some of you may not remember, but when I first joined the forums over a decade ago, I was an annoying little teenager.

Now, after years of hard work and dedication, I'm an annoying 26 year old with a bachelor's degree .

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it on here, but I've got a nice career going doing sales for Chinese vape manufacturers, too.

What I don't think I've mentioned is during my first job interview I put down the articles I wrote on here as part of my resume to make it look more impressive. Chinese HR was of course unfamiliar with the website and instead believed I was a big shot blog writer and some social media guru. I rolled with it and changed the subject quick as I could (they just thought I was an influencer basically, I wasn't impersonating anyone to be clear).

I was a *very* poor college student when I got hired and that job quadrupled my monthly salary at that time. I honestly don't think I could have finished school without getting that job.

So, I just wanna thank this forum. Without it, I don't know if I'd be where am I now

Sometimes, skills, relationships, or even just the confidence gained in a forum are the biggest career boosters. Congratulations on your career success, your degree, and your journey so far!

I remember when you first joined the boards, and we corresponded about this a bit. I could tell you were an intelligent young man with, some direction and hard work, a bright future. You’ve done really well, and you should be proud of your accomplishment. I know you’ve got a lot of great things to come too!
