What I've gleaned from this thread- I'm so fly that people are going out of their way to copy me.
Let’s not get carried away, Samurai. You fly. But you ain’t flying as high as you think.
Man, that shit was corny
I've actually leveled up quite a bit since I made this thread

Only wear made in USA/Japan vintage at this point just abou, I'm bougie as hell. I'm actually about to open a booth in an antique mall selling vintage (if you're looking for anything lmk) and I'm really excited. I've been going there since I was a very little kid, and all the comic booths there definitely played a role in my collecting habits. Coming full circle
That sounds awesome brother! While I personally couldn't get into vintage myself, I totally have a respect for the work y'all put into the craft. I don't have much knowledge on USA made stuff, but Japanese stuff I do. Undercover, Sacai (maybe too young of a brand), Comme des Garcon, etc. I love that stuff.
Many Japanese brands have perfected the craft of Americana, which I guess can go hand-in-hand with vintage. Taking older military and workwear styles and silhouettes and releasing new pieces. So we have Buzz Rickson and the more well known, The Real McCoy's. There are too many brands but if anyone is interested in getting into that aspect of Japanese fashion, check out this forum post over at
StyleForum. Think peacoats, M65 jackets, classic sweatshirts, and so on.
Mister Freedom is vintage-inspired. Some insane pieces in the outerwear section.
