Yeah, mine are RF only. Although I think I'm finally gonna do a composite and S-Video mod to at least one of them.

I've been thinking about trying one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Premium ... 08227NQ3Z/

Why don't you like paddles now, stickem? Can you be more specific?

Re-reading that I mistook paddles for joysticks. My bad!

That Jungle Hunt cart must be from some rare edition. ;P

Nice collection, opa. Have you been playing them much these days? Any favorites rising to the top?

Yes, the very rare crayola edition. lol

I don't currently have my crt since I've moved but I plan to go back and get it as soon as possible to rectify the tragedy that is my 2600 collecting dust. However, I have still been playing 2600 games on my Atari Gamestation Pro to scratch the itch and I do tend to keep coming back to my favorites.

In no particular order I tend to play:
  • -Dragonfire
    -Dig Dug
    -Joust
    -Space Invaders
    -Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back
    -RealSports: Volleyball
    -Yars' Revenge
I have really cooled on a lot of the more "in-depth" titles (e.g. Adventure, Haunted House, Pitfall 1/2, Venture). The quick, pick-up-and-play titles are just easier to get into and some of them I have been keeping track of my high scores to keep challenging myself. Some of the arcade ports (like Wizard of Wor) I have access to playing the arcade version which I vastly prefer. Not that I don't pop in the 2600 port from time to time, but some arcade ports are just not as good as their original counterpart.

Conversely, there are some 2600 ports I enjoy like Dig Dug and Joust. While graphically they're inferior to the arcade, they still hold up in the gameplay department and are quite enjoyable. And, I believe I've said this before, I prefer 2600 Joust to the arcade. The different mechanics make it more enjoyable to me.
