First big winter storm of 2025

Hope everyone is staying safe out there if you're in an impacted area. I helped a neighbor get their car unstuck just yesterday. Please stay in if you're able and don't take unnecessary trips.

Well, we seem to be through it all down here, though there was a little concern of roads refreezing overnight last night. But at this point, most of the snow has melted, businesses are open, and life is returning to normal. We probably got around 4 inches over on my neighborhood, which is enough to shit down Atlanta, so my wife and I stayed in for a few days and didn't go out until yesterday afternoon.

We got around 6 to 8 (not sure what the total was). However, we're pretty much fine now. We were stuck inside for a hot minute. lol. Glad I get to leave the house again.

We got around four to five inches here, which isn't too bad by NY standards. I was hanging out with a friend that afternoon, but left his place a bit early, just in case the snowstorm was going to be worse.

However, the superintendent for my building did not shovel the snow on the sidewalk around the building in time, and there was a nice fat ticket left for him and the property owner on the front door. Lol.
