Hey, I got one too :D

I am looking forward to checking out all of the games from that generation I missed and maybe even rediscovering some multiplats that were not so good on PS3.

@SpaceBooger - How were you able to see your previous Games with Gold claimed games? I have to manually search for mine if not already DL-ed. Know I'm forgetting several.

@Reprise - Nice stack! Quake 4 & Wolfenstein 2009 on my high priority backlog. Interesting, last of Raven's creative titles (along with Singularity) before being sucked into the Call of Duty machine.

Side Note - Raven has a really cool history if you haven't read Masters of Doom ... they connected with John Romero & their crew during Id's short lived stint in Madison, Wisconsin. This is how Hexen on Doom engine and the longterm dev-to-dev relationship happened, hence Wolf3D & Quake IPs by Raven using Carmack's Id Tech 4 engine.

Thanks! I hadn't realised those were Raven's last titles before they went over to working on Call of Duty. The shop I bought the majority of those games from actually had Singularity. Maybe I should have picked it up too. I hadn't realised it was a Raven title. To be honest, it's a game I only knew from the name and I know nothing about.

I should have another small stack of games coming today and over the course of the next week. I picked up Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Project Gotham Racing 3, Forza Motorsport 4, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts and Perfect Dark Zero.

Nice! I played PDZ at launch on a buddy's 360 so nostalgic for it. Very excited about the upcoming series reboot. While on Rare, try Kameo from your stack soon if you're a Zelda fan.

Have you played the Halo series!? ODST is the most unique and I like the noir vibes. Reach has an amazing self contained story. H3 is really just H2 cranked up to 11 in HD but for some reason that's hard to pinpoint... I tend to prefer H2. I just re-beat H3 on Heoric in December.

Worth noting, MS made sure original Halo CE and Halo 2 ran on 360 at launch. System Link for LAN is even supported between generations. The games were that important to fans at the time, and Halo 3 wasn't ready for launch. Smart move.

I've beat both H2 & H3 on 360. HDMI out is convenient. I got the ghosting issue once on H2 and a skipped cutscene (on 343 Guilty Spark) once. Quick reboot fixed both. Played campaigns probably 60+ hours, MP & LAN 1,000s of hours  this way (college days). CE has a bit more slow down on final Warthog run on 360, but it also chugs on OGX. Both very serviceable if you don't have an OGX hooked up.

I always wanted to play PDZ. I was so excited for it, I was following the development for years. It was even one of the main reasons I bought a Gamecube...  I have never played it, so really looking forward to trying it. Kameo was the same situation for me.

Regarding Halo, I absolutely loved the first two games. I played Halo CE on day one when it came out and was so blown away. Halo 2, back in high school, my friends and I even threw a LAN party in a couple of classrooms. I have never played any other game in the series though and really excited to see where they went with the series after the second game.

I have an Original Xbox hooked up. I bought it last year and my recent love for it is what snowballed into me thinking I need a 360 too  I originally had one briefly when it was a current system, but only for a couple of years.

By the way, as a PS3 owner, I am blown away by how modern and sleek the 360 feels in comparison. The UI, menu navigation and operating system just looks and feels so nice. The PS3 feels slow, clunky, laggy and outdated in comparison. I don't know why Sony never updated it. I remember they completely overhauled the Playstation store on PS3 after the PS4 came out so that the stores were more uniform and streamlined, but it ran like absolute crap on PS3. The only outdated issue with the 360 is not being able to log into my Microsoft account because my password is longer than 16 characters, although that wasn't a problem once I realised I can just get a unique code to log in.

I just turned it on one day an Portal showed up. So I left my 360 on for a while and slowly they downloaded automatically (wifi is real slow - ethernet is real fast btw). Since I installed a HDD (256gb aftermarket from Amazon) they all downloaded automatically. But I did look to see if it got them all by going to my account and checking my "purchases". Now if you don't have a HDD, I don't know if they will download or not.

I have mine hooked up to my basement gaming CRT and it looks so good. The only issue is the same that I have with the PS3 where the text is so small and sometimes hard to read on the CRT.

Ok, so I have Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Oblivian. I also have Diablo 3 and Dragon Age origins which I also have for the PS3. What other games should I look for? I have the Gears of War remaster for XBONE, so do I need the OG?
