Over the Summer, I started getting a Kernel Data Inpage Error 0x0000007a Blue Screen show up on my computer. I would be on a website, the computer would freeze, I would get the Blue Screen and then it would automatically restart. I never had any issues with it before and I was always able to reboot properly. Also, it wasn't very common as it only happened every few days or so. After doing some research, I was told to do an Error-Check on my Drive. Well, I did that and after running for 4 hours, it did not find an error and the Blue Screen went away.
Starting this month, the Blue Screen has come back and now it is beginning to happen on almost daily basis. Once again, the computer works fine most of the time. I would visit a trusted website, the computer would try to load, it would freeze and then just reboot.
I have tried several Error Checks on my Drive.
I did a Windows Memory Diagnostic.
Last night, I did a chkdsk.
No errors and nothing shows up, so I don't know what is wrong. I have been told that maybe my Hard Drive is beginning to fail. My computer is quite old and slow, so I would not be surprised if it is dying on me. I was just wondering if there are any tips or help that I can do besides just buying a whole new machine.
Thank you for any help that you offer!
