The new space is coming along well, Syndicate. Look forward to seeing photos when the new game room is finished up.

Regarding cable management, I also haven't put much effort into that. I have a really simple gaming setup with just my SNES, Genesis, and PS2 hooked up to a CRT through a four-way composite splitter. The fourth port on the splitter I leave open to swap between Saturn and DC. If I end up playing N64 or GC, I usually just use the video cable from the SNES. For modern stuff, we currently have those consoles hooked up in our living room.

...so my game room project finally crossed the finish line, well for the most part. It's still a work in progress as there are a few things I'd like to add, namely a larger tv, some seating, upgraded sound, getting everything hooked up, and cable management. All that being said, I'm geeked that everything turned out pretty well. My family loves the updated space, and I have some room to grow collection wise.

That is so awesome. You have an amazing set up and collection, and I’m going to spend some time gazing jealously at all the games I don’t have (yet!).

The updated setup is looking awesome, Syndicate! The entertainment center and shelves look great. The lights at the top of the shelves are a nice touch, not something I had considered before.

Also, as prfsnl mentioned, very cool to see some of your collection as well.

Loving the setup, especially the new TV cabinet, it looks great.

I hope there's some plans to organise those games alphabetically though  !

But do you really NEED all those games? Wait, I see a pillow that answers that question. Understood!

...thanks guys, there's still odds and ends to take care of but being functional goes a long way. Funny story about the alphabetization AJ, or the lack thereof, I was speaking to my wife earlier this week and asked her to find something before I decided to pull the trigger on anything. Well after a while she found it and let me know it would have been much easier if everything was in order...so guess what one of my projects will be over the weekend? It's good thing Gameye can take care of the sorting for me

...regarding the pillow, my kids know I'm way down the gaming rabbit hole so when Father's day, or even Christmas rolls around I usually get a cute gaming item crafted as a gift. It's fun and the pillow really answers the question most people have when they see the room

Awesome game room!

I love the contrast of the black shelving with the white lights.

Very jealous of the arcade sticks in the earlier pics.

Great stuff!

Perhaps some black framed gaming artwork would be in order? 8)
