There are reports coming out that Ricochet is leaving WWE. I am not sure if that means he will be going to AEW or not. Speaking of AEW though, it has reported that Penta's contract ends soon and he is making moves to trademark his name and all that stuff in case he goes to WWE.

Really bums me out that we never got this dream match. Maybe AEW can make it happen!

Tony Kahn really is becoming Vince McMahon. He can't keep his storylines straight anymore as evidenced by what he did with Kyle and Roderick on Collision, which Alvarez talks about here:

Plus, everything surrounding Toni Storm is peak, Vince McMahon era, WWE, "sports entertainment" nonsense. Storm's gimmick is every bit as stupid as the Maximum Male Models crap Vince McMahon stuck LA Knight with. To Vince's credit though, he understood that stupid gimmicks like this are not for your main eventers

AEW really is going to become the new TNA in 5 to 10 years. I'm actually starting to believe it now. The absolute idiocy shown by Tony Kahn week to week is legitimately starting to concern me. AEW's overall metrics haven't been great. Online perception towards them has changed. There is nothing buzzworthy or "cool" as Meltzer put it, about AEW anymore. They hired the biggest star in Japan, one of the biggest names in female pro wrestling in the past several years, and possibly the best wrestler on the planet, and the product still feels cold. We still don't know what the hell is going on with the TV deal, and somehow WWE has found a way to make TNA more buzzworthy than AEW

People said he slept with a lot of the women he worked with. The amount of time he spends around Cora and Roxanne seems suspect for a dude who is supposed to be married. Like that Twitter video I linked to just feels so random. Why does he need to be involved in whatever these ladies are doing? It adds nothing to Roxanne's story line. Why does Punk seem to want to be working with them so much? I've seen a lot of social media stuff involving him and those ladies too.

I think they're trying to beat Dynamite in the ratings. I suspect AEW is going to have a dip this week and it might happen, not that it really matters when they aren't head to head when it would be a fair comparison. As you said though, AEW is pretty boring right now.

Edit: Seems like Dynamite has a ton of competition this week, with NBA and other sporting shit (sorry, I don't follow American sports), so are expected to have a dip. Seems like WWE is striking whilst they're weak and trying to load NXT next week to beat them.
