Good lord, the FFVII Rebirth demo is almost 50GB. And they adding more to it later this month!

its not so bad given a 100Mbps connection. should be around 1 hour but do servers download at that speed? I noticed they cap speeds.

Just saw the Feb 1st progress video for Wind Waker: Unflooded.
What a cool idea! Making a map of Hyrule in the Wind Waker style by adding all the parts of the map that were under water.

Are the EGG releases of Relic or Thexder good? This is the kind of thing I love, but I'm always iffy about games on pre-me computers; sometimes I love them, but sometimes they just never click.

I mean, the emulation and presentation are excellent, and they're great historical oddities.... but as far as actual gameplay experience goes, Relics and Thexder are pretty damn janky. Ys is the first truly great game to be dropped by EGG.

Agreed . The jank is strong.

That said, Silpheed still looks and plays great. The art direction there was just mind-blowing.

Yeah Silpheed is the best so far (well until Ys drops in like one week).

I'm looking forward to Riglas and Laplace no Ma, assuming D4 doesn't deviate from their planned releases.
