Lol and funny theory I just read:

"Is Cm Punk the Devil?

Many supporters of AEW often boast about their wrestling knowledge, but the thrill of being genuinely entertained and surprised, even if it means being "worked," brings out the childlike excitement in me.

Before making his return to wrestling, CM Punk expressed that the one factor compelling enough to bring him back was the presence of an interesting and compelling story.

During his AEW Unrestricted interview, an intriguing detail emerged regarding CM Punk's thought process after the infamous pipe bomb incident. He discussed his strong dedication to kayfabe, highlighting his commitment to maintaining the authenticity of his character.

He specifically discussed avoiding a return through the curtain, emphasizing that, in kayfabe, he would have engaged in a fistfight to uphold the authenticity of the storyline.

Here are more specified reason:

1. HOB told FTR their REAL FRIEND isn’t there anymore.

2. Kenny told the Bucks they were children & he needed to tell them.

3. REAL GLASS.

4. MJF called himself the REAL World Champion.

“The greatest trick the DEVIL ever pulled was convincing you people he didn’t exist.”

Now, I leave you with the question, is Cm Punk the devil in AEW? If not, who do you think it is?

There are people on the internet who literally think EVERYTHING is a work. They are just as dumb as the people many years ago who thought everything in wrestling was real from the fights to the characters. They're the modern version of that.

Yeah, I've heard the stupid Punk theories myself. This was going on even BEFORE he was fired.

Anyway, Smackdown was mostly boring except for Kevin Owens being funny on commentary, LA Knight still being stupidly over (which means nothing to the higher ups in WWE unfortunately), and this...

I mentioned before how WWE is a little too heel dominant these days (and it really is), but I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE this. Bianca Belair's boring (typical, bland, superwoman babyface) and Charlotte Flair is just annoying with her nepotism and fifty billion title reigns, so I loved seeing them get their asses kicked. And Shotzi Blackheart sucks too, so I enjoyed her getting her ass beat too. For the very first time, Damage CTRL looks like a serious faction not to be fucked with, and I kind of like how it's an all women faction, unlike Judgment Day (mixed) or The Bloodline (just dudes).

This is more than likely happening just to set up War Games for the ladies, but that's not a bad thing

I'm once again reminded of how boring AEW's women's division is right now.

I think your posts are a work! You're trying to fool everyone, but we know you're in on the masterplan to bring Cody and Punk back!

Too Fast, Too Fuego was a work too! It really WASN'T Cody under the mask!

Okay, in all seriousness, here's another good one I used to hear online. People used to say that Cody being in AEW was some master plan by WWE to bring the company down or that it was actually WWE that orchestrated the creation of AEW. Like seriously? Why?

Anyway, I want to post this link here. It's a nice, easy to follow source for Japanese wrestling/joshi wrestling news, which occasionally includes mentions of people in AEW given their relationship with NJPW. Perfect for anyone with a casual or hardcore interest in Japanese wrestling.

Every now and then you get those strange moments in wrestling, like when a top WWE wrestler and a top AEW wrestler both make appearances in a Japanese wrestling company on the same night at the same event

So Full Gear this Saturday and then Survivor Series the following Saturday. It feels like both shows could be be pretty good. I mean, AEW PPVs always deliver even when they don't, which I know makes no sense, but even lacklustre AEW PPVs have great matches at least. Full Gear is shaping up to possibly be their best PPV this year (actually might not too Revolution, but could be close)

I might end up watching both if I can.

Yeah, they should be fun. I wonder how Drew McIntyre will fit in. I believe last night was his official heel turn, and he may or may not be with the Judgment Day now. The ending of the show was a bit ambiguous on that point. The Miz has recently gotten a bit more serious and it's been fun to see him step into the position of Gunther's next opponent for the intercontinental title, which he has no chance of winning but the match will probably be fun to watch. Even though The Miz is a heel the crowds are behind him now.

WWE's product is pretty fun to watch so long as you don't mind the heel dominance. Markies is right, that does seem to be Triple H's comfort zone. Adam Cold ran roughshod over NXT for a long time as a heel champion with a heel faction (The Undisputed Era). The Game is definitely in charge right now because you see a lot of former NXT stars getting featured now. Xia Li went from a nobody to a feud with Beck Lynch. She's like some kung fu movie villain and she's literally knocked Becky Lynch unconscious with one of her kicks as part of this feud. Teagen Nox is getting some chances to shine. Shayna Bazler is getting prominently featured and Kairi just joined up with Damage CTRL on Smackdown. Zoey Starks is getting a lot of love right now and has a title match with Rhea Ripley (who was once an NXT darling herself). It's nice because we at least get some fresh matchups. Vince was known for having the same damn matches ever week.

WWE's match style is interesting when compared to AEW. I was thinking about this while watching Raw. WWE matches tend to focus on story telling and psychology. It's not a bad thing, but it may be boring for people who prefer the spot heavy style of AEW. They had a match between Otis and Shinsuke Nakamura that I loved. It wasn't spot heavy, but it put over Otis by having him dominate Shinsuke, and then Shinsuke had to hit him with his finisher three times from three different positions to win. I expected a squash match where Nakamura would easily win, but instead they used it to make Otis look strong. They then used it to set up a feud between Otis' friend Chad Gable and Shinsuke. Simple and effective way to push three different people.

One thing I wish Triple H would change is the god awful Raw and Smackdown themes. They are terrible. Remember how good they used to be:

NXT used to have a great one too:

Now we have this crap:

Music standards in WWE have really gone downhill

AEW does way better:

Even Impact and NWA have better intros than WWE's crap, especially NWA

WWE's intros just feel like watered down, mainstream garbage

Tony Khan has announced that "AEW has agreed to terms with one of the world's best wrestlers, a pro who is known & respected by virtually every AEW fan!" and "they’re set to be in LA to sign their contract THIS SATURDAY at AEW Full Gear!"

It's going to be fucking Dolph Ziggler or some guy from Japan I have never heard of, isn't it?

No wait, it could be Mercedes Mone, right?

Nah, it'll be CM Punk

Is he gonna book this person the way he's booked Mariah May? Because she already feels like a nobody after one week
