Yoshi's Island Hacks on Real hardware Issue

Hey Guys so i got really frustraded trying to Patch roms and burning and installing it in Yoshi's Island cart and SMW 2+2 and NEW! Yoshi's Island Didn't work ,
Is there anyway to know without the sd2snes if they work on real hardware or just on emulators.

Abe to figure out SMW 2+2 Does work on Real hardware but not sure about NEW! SMW hack.
