What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

So?

Also Ryan Reynolds is straight and married.

So? It's a Man Crush. Doesn't matter that I'm straight and he's straight. It's a dreamy what-if.

Shocking how it's much easier to make music at home with at least the same quality as music made in expensive studios back in the '70s and '80s. And the same pretty much goes for a lot of media, with movies and even video games made by people with less expensive equipment often surpassing the work of major studios.

IIRC, the rise of independently made media was typically espoused in cyberpunk literature as a natural eventuality.

At first I was like "They got Kramer to be the new host? That's a terrible choice!" Then I read the article and the reality was even worse. So many better options.

And Richards is out, thanks to some past discrimination lawsuits about women, that he denied and then.... further disparaging comments he made on a resurfaced podcast about women's bodies, Jews and Asians (cause he's an equal opportunity asshole I guess). Maybe Sony will vet their future new host more carefully the second time around.

He's still going to remain an Executive Producer though

^ Good (except for the producer part)

:D In other good news, after 22 years at the same job, I've put in my resignation and accepted a new position elsewhere. It pays much better and should be far less stressful. I'll be moving to Alabama soon.

 Telling my coworkers sucks.

I may be revealing too much about my inner opinions, but I can imagine living in only a few places where moving to Alabama would be an upgrade.

That said, you're clearly excited about this new job and that's awesome! I hope you enjoy the work, your new co-workers, and even Alabama! And also the pay increase. Maybe some more expensive retro gaming stuff will wander into your life?

Having never lived there, I am inclined to agree. But then again, I've lived in Appalachia most of my life....so maybe I won't notice a big difference? I like to think I am moving to one of the better areas in any case.

I have something that may make someone smile today. I have an extra key for Fallout 4 GOTY on steam. Should work as I have not redeemed it. Send me a PM if you want it. All I ask is at the time of this post that you have been a member for at least a week. If you send me a message and do not hear from me it just means someone beat you to it.

Then I can smile for passing along a freebie LOL.

Hey man, what part of Alabama? I'm from there and have kicked around all over that state.
