I feel like I've seen some for less than $150 but I might be wrong. I wouldn't spend that on shorts, but I literally just started wearing shorts out in public again for the first time since I was in like kindergarten, I almost always wear pants.

I did just get a pair of the blue/pink flame shorts from Steady Hands. Really cool brand.

Listen; if you needed an excuse to get leg tattoos, wearing shorts is as good as any excuse I can think of. I fully support your decision. In fact, I give it the “Chuck Norris thumbs up” approval.

Regarding shorts: I run pretty hot most times so I wear shorts quite often. Sometimes we’ll into the fall where I wear shorts with a hoodie. One of the silliest shorts purchase I made was getting a super heavy pair of Jordan shorts with almost 50% wool blend. I thought that was the dumbest thing I’ve ever hear of: wool shorts. But in hand, they really are awesome.

Wintertime I wear sweatpants. The tapered kind. Jeans on occasions where I’m going out with friends or something. Chinos for work (got Nike golf chinos that are super light and stretchy).

Yea I didn't start wearing shorts until maybe 2 years ago. Don't know why but I always hated them.

Speaking of tattoos it seems like my first neck one won't even be booked for quite a few months because there's not only a backlog, but a huge surge of clients. My partner's coworker got hers done yesterday and the artist said that quite a few people who book are doing no shows. The place specializes in smaller ones, so I'm going to try to get my other neck one booked, with the 6 small circles at the back of Jack's neck. It'll provide a theme too with the seven samurai tattoo I have.

I'm starting to realize however that tattoo addiction is an actual thing. I had this urge to get a tattoo ASAP a few hours ago, and had to nap because I was starting to get that withdrawal headache. But, the majority of bipolar people have a history of substance abuse, so maybe we are prone to addiction to the point that even ink abuse happens.

I'm really wanting a new one as well but I'm having to think about what I'm going to get, don't know if my artist is booked or not either... And yes the shorts are totally because I have my leg tats. That kneecap one I have is totally bitchin' and needs flexed.

I do plan on getting 2 leg sleeves eventually. One will be of various science topics done in traditional style, and another one will be a vaporwave sleeve. The neck tattoos are first, but after that I gotta fill in my gaps on my left arm. Thinking of a demonic venus twist tattoo the artist made in his catalogue, snakes on the top of the arm gaps, and maybe showing the stages of the melting mug of grog in monkey island
