For sure get Ninty to fix them. You don't need to take it apart to clean under the dome, it is thin flexible plastic that you can easily get under with a qtip.bmoc wrote:I took apart one of my Joy-Cons shortly after first getting it in 2017. Once again due to a child related incident. They kicked over a drink and it splashed onto the Joy-Cons. I managed to clean it up just fine but it sure was a pain to take apart and put back together.emwearz wrote:Two of my joycons had bad drift. Cotton tip with under the 'dome' of the analog stick fixed both them, months later both are still working.
Since Nintendo is repairing them for free, I'm just going to take my chances. I've got a Pro controller and a wired controller to get me by in the meantime. I appreciate the suggestion though! Maybe my kids will be more gentle with the Joy-Cons if they have to live without them for a while.

Get pumped, retro gamers. A “lost” JRPG from my youth drops into the Switch next week:

This looks so awesome, and will be a day one purchase for me.

That does look interesting. I had not heard of that one. Let us know how it holds up.

Anyone else preorder the physical copy of Untitled Goose Game? Just saw that an update is gonna add a two-player mode.

Nintendo did a Minidirect today. Out of leftfield was:
Collection of the GB Final Fantasy Legends/SaGa games getting a switch release this December.
And ofcourse, Puyo x Tetris 2 is coming

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
So...a little while back, some games published by Ratalaika were on sale. Ratalaika specializes in porting budget indie games to consoles, many of which are (1) very short and (2) similar, aesthetically and mechanically, to old games. Some of these have solid reviews, and I picked up several of them. I’ve now played through most of them, and while some were just so-so, some were remarkably solid. I’ll try to get some reviews up soon, and I’ll keep on the look out for hidden gems I can recommend to my fellow RB members. (So far, Cybarian and Daggerhood are the real stand-outs.)
