Heard a song from the new Green Day album on youtube. I was curious because of its abysmal score on RYM. Oh dear god, even for them it's absolutely awful. I'm seriously surprised the music video didn't show a Toyota with a narrator saying its amazing features and its low price.

I hated him at first too, but I dunno, something about the completely deadpan vocals comes off as endearing, and it grew on me. His album eversince is emo rap too so being apathetic and deadpan made sense. He is one of the most polarizing artists I've seen in recent memory.

At least I didn't play something like power electronics here. That I imagine would get tons of hate. The equivalent of metal I guess as it's very angry and sometimes too edgy, but instead of screaming over heavy guitars they are screaming over noise and industrial.
