SKYRIM PEEPS: Doing a first-time playthrough with a Wood Elf stealth archer build. I'm currently level 9... am I too low of a level to be doing the Companions' quest in Dustman's Cairn with Farkas? Just ran into some heavy armored baddies who knock out Farkas and run through my archer build like butter. Can't really go stealth w/ Farkas' heavy ass running ahead of me swinging like a madman.

If I turn back and try to continue this quest later, what will happen to Farkas? Will he wait for me, or are we attached at the hip like Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear in the middling 2003 Farrelly Bros movie, Stuck On You?

Skyrim's difficulty scales to your character so you're never really too low level to do anything.

Try talking to him and seeing if it will let you dismiss him.

Depending on how many points you already have in stealth, you should be able to remain hidden(ish) even while Farkas is going crazy if you keep your distance.

I picked up the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane remakes recently and was trying out Crash 1. It feels slightly off and I've been dying a lot to stuff that I shouldn't. I'm not a Crash mega-fan but I am decent enough to notice the odd changes to the jumping and hit boxes. Hopefully it's less of an issue with Crash 2 and 3 but currently, and unlike the fabulous Spyro Reignited, I can't see why you'd play this over the originals.

Fantasy Zone: The Maze...it’s a pretty good concept, but it’s basically impossible. The Sega equivalent of a Captain N couldn’t beat this. There are no continues, and although I’ve learned the mechanics fairly well, I can barely make it through half the worlds. Moreover, and apparently, you have to beat the game twice to see the end. Once again, I’m afraid, save states are coming to the rescue for me. :?

lol again.

I love to see other people purposefully play "questionable" old games like that; makes me glad I'm not the only one.

You can’t run a series without playing some questionable games.

Thinking about it last night, I think Fantasy Zone The Maze is one of those games that really has to be played with two players. I think it’s just designed that way.

Just started uncharted lost legacy

Playing an indie platformer called Ikao the lost souls, pretty solid hard game with a some nice colorful graphics and a minimilistic story

I have a whole list of games I plan on playing over my vacation next week that includes: (note, I dont plan on playing all of these over the break, this is just a guide)

katana zero (releases tomorrow)
extinction
uncharted lost legacy
gravity rush 2
switch games (blaster master zero 2, mercenaries sage chronicles, dustys revenge, super one more jump, new luigi bros)
azure 2
one of the yoshi 3ds games
mega man powered up (psp)
a 3d platformer...billy hatcher, skyler and plux, beyond good and evil
a fan game (contra spirit of war maybe?)
a rom hack (maybe mega man cx or rockman + infinity)
battle priness madelyn
Darksiders 3 (I can get it for about 25 bucks, not sure if I will play it or not this vacation)

One retro game day where I will likely bang through:

1. at least one contra game
2. at least one castlevania game
3. Streets of rage 2
4. Dragons lair 2
5. battletoads(out of practice, probably wont beat it)
6. a double dragon game
7. punch out or super punch out
maybe something else

Finally got around to finishing Leon's A run on RE2 Remake. Gonna start Claire's B run and I also started a fresh Leon A run for Twitch.

Still making dead cells runs everyday but beginning to get disheartened. I feel like I've hit the wall in that game and I'm not sure how to push past it. I've been trying for dozens of runs to get past 2 bc difficulty and I just cant get through it for the life of me.
