TV/NES Combo Unit - Pics Added!!!
Re: TV/NES Combo Unit
Dude, it's 25 bucks. You've got a job, pull the trigger.
I sell for a nursery close to Lenoir, if I was gonna be down anytime I soon I'd run over and buy it in a second.

"I would/will if I could covince my mom its worth it. She has an aversion to all things game related, so me buying a TV for NES only is gonna make her freak."
Your mom? Are you for real? This thing is worth a crapload of money and it was sitting there for $25. Does she not understand the concept of profit?

When you sell it for $500+ she will think of you as a genius! And she will feel stupid, and never question a game related purchase again mission accomplished.

Re: TV/NES Combo Unit
I took a good look at it today, pulled it off the shelf, plugged it in for a little bit, and chose not to buy it for two reasons.
1) The front panel was dead.
2) The coax/antenna inputs on the back were rusted over.
3) What I can only describe as a vomit like substance was on the far right and back of the set.
Sorry guys, but it's not worth it to me due to the condition it's in. If anybody wants it though it's still there at the goodwill.

Re: TV/NES Combo Unit
Even in that condition it would sell for far more than $25. Consider Nintendo World Championships, even torn to all hell and with no label it will always fetch a decent price, of course a higher price for better condition. Hopefully someone from Racketboy will snag it up.

Could you specify which goodwill it is?
It looks like there are three in Statesville, NC.
I'll be driving from Atlanta to D.C. in a few weeks, and it looks like swinging through Statesville would only add about half an hour to my trip.
Of course, the odds are good that it won't be there in three weeks.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
