Tax Return Game Purchases?

Good, I'm glad. The 940 is a waste of money, and $1K for a CPU is a little out of my league. The 920 is nuts though, right? I haven't even been able to push mine much yet.

thanks to a payroll glitch on my W2, i ended up owing $787 unexpectedly.

Don't feel too bad, this is the first year I'm actually getting money. There was one year, when I was 17, which I had to pay a WHOLE YEAR's worth of taxes. They weren't taking any out of my paychecks.
Re: Tax Return Game Purchases?
yeah i've owed the last couple of years but was planning on not owing this year. i was technically still married at the beginning of 2008 so i checked "married (but withhold and higher, single rate)", but they just put me in as "married." kind of a nice surprise when i went to have my taxes done and they were like "oh, well, that sucks."

I was thinking about getting a neo-geo but I should probably save the money for a rainy day.
Re: Tax Return Game Purchases?
I went on a small eBay spree, but most of my return will be going to paying off bills.

I used mine to pay my car insurance. I have always gotten back money. I only got back about a grand this year, and my girlfriend got back 2700, which blew my mind.

I guess you could call my purchase of Space Station Silicon Valley as a tax return purchase because that's about the only real expendable money we have at the moment.
If the economy were a bit more stable I'd probably be more inclined to finally get a 3DO or something, but for now the gaming purchases are on the back burner.
