Racketboy,

Love the site, and check the forums here at least once a day if not more. Originally found it doing a google search for a Dreamcast VGA cable, ordered one from you, and have been hanging around ever since. I had two points I wanted to touch on. The first is regarding your two moderator choices. Nice picks, both are productive members, and I see informative messages from both on a regular basis.

If you continue to have an influx of new users, and the need for tighter spam and content control becomes an issue, you may consider adding some junior moderators. By that, I mean only assigning them to moderate a couple forums that they seem to visit the most. They would answer to the senior moderators who mod all forums, and of course to you. In having control over only a few forums, or even a single forum it could serve a dual purpose. First, it would ensure that most of the threads were looked through and cleaned up daily, and second, it could be a proving ground of sorts. If you would, heaven forbid, happen to get a power abusing bad apple, it would limit the potential damage to the thread integrity of your site.

With my job as busy as it is, I could not, in good conscience, recommend myself as a full moderator on this site because I don't have the time to check every forum every day. I kinda run on a rotation on which ones I check the most. However, if you would need anymore help down the line, I'd be more than happy to assist in a "Junior Moderator" capacity and run some of the forums with less traffic such as the SHMUPS forum for example. I check that one every day, because I am a big fan of the genre.

So, there's my feedback, my suggestions, and my name to keep on the table if you should need anymore help. Just contact me and let me know what you would want me to do if it comes to that. The community here is of a much higher caliber than any other gaming related site I've come accross on the web, and I'd like to do whatever possible to ensure it stays that way.

If I ever journey out of my non-lurkerness, I'd love to be a mod. We'll see.

I'm on all the time... I've done moderation before on small sites... but I doubt people take me seriously enough here. There are better people here.

I don't know why I am still reading this post since 2 new mods were created, but I like this idea. I like it a lot. It makes sense. I know that I check the forums multiple times a day, but there are some (like videos, review, achieving, and downloads) that I only check once a week or when I have a lot of time to kill and I also would be up for helping out with one or two subforums if it ever happens.

Thanks guys. I can't believe so many people voted for me. I am sporting a huge boner for each and every one of you.

Congratulations to MrPopo! If I was going to vote for anyone to be a mod it would have been you anyway.

*toasts* to a crap-free Racketboy Forums!

So why is Mozgus's name Green, your name Colbalt Blue, and the rest of us still Steel Blue?
