Please don't let this be an April Fool's Joke.

Silent Hill is my favorite game series "aside from Homecoming". I can't wait as this news along with Fatal Frame just justified my Wii purchase. Lets hope Fragile, Sadness and Cursed Mountain follow shortly after.

Appears to be true. Destructoid has some details about the game, including the removal of combat: http://www.destructoid.com/new-silent-h ... 7235.phtml

I really like the sound of how the Wii remote will be used. Any Wii game that's not a steaming pile of casual shovelware crap is worth paying attention to in my book.

Ditto. Good to see some companies are still trying to make quality games on the Wii.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
