Ps2 data converter--recommendations?

Post by dedalusdedalus »

i accidentally deleted my 100% completion GTA: vice city data. i COULD just attempt another 100% completion run of GTA: VC, but i don't have 60 hours to do that.

that said, i'm looking to take the easy way out by just downloading a 100% complete file and putting it on my memory card. are there any recommendations for a device that can transfer data from a PC to a PS2 memory card?

i've heard horrible things about max drive.

a little on the pricey side but it works awesome and doubles as a no-solder mod chip if you're into that kind of thing.

Don't bother with memor32, just use the freemcboot hack to softmod your PS2 and transfer the save file over USB.

There's an extensive topic about the FreeVast hack in the Hacks & Mods forum.
