The 1 remaster drops soon this summer and for only $30.retrosportsgamer wrote:I really want in on these Yakuza PS4 remasters
Well I seem to steer you correctly so far... I would say keep at it with Rage! It appears to be bigger in scope and kind of Borderlands-esque, but it's really not honestly. The driving is fairly minimal and not that fleshed out, maybe for the best. It only has like 2-3 hub towns I think. So... in a sense it really is simple/level based for the most part.PartridgeSenpai wrote:Took a peek into RAGE today, and I was actually fairly turned away. I was looking for something a lot more mindless after all of the Tales and Yakuza lately, and I really wasn't digging the Boarderlands-ish feel (at least that's what I assume Boarderlands is like). Really wanted something more stage-based and Doom-like.
I'm thinking I might give Sengoku Basara or another Dynasty Warriors-ish game a shot instead. Gotta have something to fill the time until Yakuza 3 arrives in like a month
I really loved Wind Waker, back during its release. I haven't played a 3D Zelda that was better (although I did quite enjoy Majora's Mask, as well), and I probably prefer the look of the original to the HD update. (I am really not a fan of bloom effects.)Markies wrote:I only walked around the town and I was grabbed at how beautiful the game looked. I was never one to dismiss the art style to Wind Waker, but I do have to say that it holds up absolutely beautifully. The controls felt tight and easy to understand after playing through Ocarina of Time. I have only dabbled into it, but so far I am pretty impressed. I cannot wait to play more of the game.
