Ack sums it up best. Those are some good posts and almost like a reflection of many things I could have written up myself. Gonna hit that 30 this year. So there's been a lot of introspective going on with myself lately, probably too much so... but it's pretty fun and cool. I view family, friends, random people all kind of same now... everyone has their own crazy story and it's fascinating. And I have my own, that nobody else can ever own.
The few lessons I've learned to get over the last few years, one is that I have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone. People joke about not giving a fuck with age and it seems hilariously true or something haha, but that really is the antidote here. I guess growing up kind of lower class and having some extended family like grandparents that were wealthy drowning me in their ridiculous expectations, all kind of hit me hard in my early 20's and it felt like I had to be successful and prove to everyone how I'd surpass my parents and be some kind of shining beacon of whatever the hell success is. Well then I got my highest paying job by dollars in late 2014 and for six months I think I lived through a real world Silent Hill. It was without a doubt one of the lowest points of my life. So... money isn't everything and I'm not living to work anymore, I'll work to live. Work will never be the priority. Before that I was stuck at a pharmacy and for years I just focused way too damn much on "work", finding that perfect job, or getting that bigger paycheck. It was all a recipe to being miserable for me.
The other big thing is that I've finally let go of a lot of weird resentments I've built up on myself and thrown onto others regarding friendships that have thinned out since high school and the initial college years. I was either blaming myself for not putting in enough effort to keep the connections strong, or doing this and that, or blaming them for not trying hard enough. But the reality for me is that you just need let to, stop trying to "control" or manipulate, and let life take you where it flows. Everyone has their own path and people are going to come in and out of your life throughout time. And in retrospect a lot of those people were quite toxic looking back, haha. So it's good how things have turned out.
2015 was a big struggle but I wouldn't be in this awesome place in life where I am now if I didn't step through that fire. Instead of asking why... ask why not. I would rather try than regret never trying.
I changed my major like three times so I finally just laughed giving up on college again for now. I love courses that interest me. Never say never though, who knows if I'll make it back or not. But I have zero debt so I think I've done some right. I commend people that can stay happy while building towards a better future, but for me currently in life I have found a lot of happiness in letting go of the past and trying not to look back much and not regret anything, without also focusing too much on the future that you can't really control anyways, so living in the now is what I'm all about. I am very happy right now. Mission accomplished.
And yes, some of the racketboys here have been awesome and helped me out along the way too! I will miss some of the guys that have quit/ragequit/been banned or whatever myself, but kind of like I'm saying above... you never know where someones story is going to take them and you.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Well house was listed last Thursday and received 2 firm offers yesterday. We plan to move forward with one and finally get this stage of the move done. Some relief here.
Made worse was my family was staying with wife's parents, and my 3 dog were being watched by some if my family. But one of my dogs is causing problems, barking and waking kids, peeing inside, and tore up the carpet when he got stuck in a room. So now I am in a position of not knowing what to do with him as I can't have them at the house during this selling process.

Board him at a reputable kennel or veterinary clinic. I've had to do this a few times with various cats and dogs. It's always worked out well for me.

It would be for 2 months, that would be some big $$ and plus not sure I want him locked in a kennel for so long. We have discussed that option though.

Didn't know you meant for that long.
If where he's staying has a backyard, I'd probably set him up a temporary fence* in the shade with plenty of water during the day, and crate him inside at night. That way he gets some freedom of movement / fresh air during day, and at night doesn't destroy the house.
Complicated situation for sure, good luck.

Ugh, the intermittent screen blackout on my Samsung reared its head again last night. I hope it's just from a somewhat recent firmware update. I'd gone several months with no issue (including a lot of Zelda), so hopefully it's just a one-off from not doing a factory reset after that. (Which is a pain in the butt 'cause I have to set everything up right again.)

Smile - New MST3k bot shown
Ticked - cant figure out what his mouth and body are made out of. I have theories on most of the pieces, but they wouldnt have used a bellows plunger for the body since it would be pliable and a paint to paint.

Edit:
Figured out the mouth and have an idea for the body.

What was grest about him, as an insult comic, he would insult you without you feeling you were insulted, but was hilarious.

Smile: Made some major progress in setting up the new relocated dork cave. Got the sixth gen and seventh gen entertainment centers set up. I just gotta get my classic computer desk set up and I'll be nearly done. Might take photos of the two sixth and seventh gen setups tomorrow just to show how it's put together. Feels good to finally be getting off my lazy ass and accomplishing this goal.
Ticked: Took a machete to my driveway's flora today (canopy driveway through some woods) and cleared out a much cleaner drive. Unfortunately I got a bitch of a blister on my right palm, because I was dumb and didn't wear gloves. Also my damn mower wouldn't start. I bought that thing new two years ago, and every time it sets a few months it won't start for anything. I'm ready to take a sledgehammer to it and make a scrap metal pile.
