Open World fatigue is real here too, but allowing myself a bit of reading here in this thread I feel less about it being a sketchy mess. If you get a bunch of media types not knocking Zelda but unexpectedly doing just that to a Sony game of perhaps somewhat like style it makes you wonder a bit. I don't much like breakables, but if it's there so it's like the first Halo it shouldn't be a problem I would imagine yet somehow I still wonder if it could get annoying in limited spots (closed area boss arenas for one.)
I don't like the idea of playing 20hours going in circles not finding a dungeon that sounds exceptionally boring and a time waster to me so I hope that was accidental or intentional on his part. I can't figure how someone could blow that much time and accomplish nothing of that level of value.
Zelda Breath of the Wild - Wii U vs. Switch

Open world fatigue applies to me too and also a growing dislike for over-used Western RPG mechanics, such as crafting, weapons breaking etc.
This should sound like my worst nightmare as a Zelda fan, but like Xeogred has pointed out about what has been said by reviewers and critics, it sounds like this is going to be an awesome return to the roots for the series - for those of us who played Zelda - and will be a challenging Zelda that many of us have craved. It seems like so much love and care has gone into this game to make it a huge evolution for the series, taking what made the original 2D series so great, whilst advancing the formula with modern 3D, open world technology.
3rd March cannot come soon enough.

The crafting, weapon durability, and so on seem a lot less like WRPG elements and a lot more like Monster Hunter inspired inclusions.

True and good point.
I don't like Monster Hunter either though

Of course it'll look like a 100 next to Ocarina of Time...
