I didn't realize the sequel had come out yet. Since I already have the first one digitally but not the second I figured I'd pick up the hard copy.

What the hell is up with all these games that get physical releases long after being available digitally.
I'm looking at you, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse .

There are just a bunch of smaller publishers willing to push stuff out like Limited Run Games, Yacht Club, and etc.

I hope it's a sign and I think we'll expect to see it even more.
You saw that story about the Switch where the kits start at $450 and the dev costs around that are cheap, learning curve is easy, and converting from other formats easy too. Looking at the $30 release of Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ for the Switch on launch, it makes me think we could see a lot more formerly digital only games getting solid releases as the cost barriers are being crushed.
I never got into gunvolt because it was digital only under a DRM umbrella unless I missed it going on GoG. I could see if time allowed at this rate with new hardware on the doorstep picking it up. You get the original and sequel in one bundle and that's a pretty solid setup.

Anyone notice that a 3DS RPG Maker game drops this summer?

I saw that and Culdcept Revolt when I was browsing through Amazon. First time I'd heard or seen anything about either one of them.

Here's what Metacritic says is coming soon for 3DS:
No official US release date for Dragon Quest XI that I've seen, anybody know anything?
If there are other confirmed 3DS releases coming this year post 'em.
