I'm curious to see when it rolls out if it's just after they shut down the pink event or wait until the Fri/Sat for it.
Pokémon Go
Re: Pokémon Go
I could make a joke about some preferences or jondas but we know what you mean by being happy about seeing yellow this weekend.

Re: Pokémon Go
I will say it may be in all of our best interests to possibly use a Lucky Egg as soon as the event begins -- 1000XP per new Pokémon caught!
They extended the 6 hour lures to Saturday night. The candy is back to normal now, as are the pink spawns.

Re: Pokémon Go
I've been holding onto the only one I've had for months now I got at lv20 I guess. I figured they'd try and do another 4x experience setup again so I've been stocking pidgey candies and keeping any weak pidgey 151cp and under just so they all line up in the bottom of the bin.

Re: Pokémon Go
That's rough I caught 4 of them, all of them blew yet I did keep the highest CP of the dumpers which was a decent one nearly 700cp, nothing to my 951 with near perfect stats though. It could go higher, just haven't candied it in the last level up or two so I know it could top 1000. The thing was I didn't care, they're free candies to level the non-junk one up.
Oddly I've caught a snorlax again last night, then one last week, both sucked but again free candy.

At least, until this update hits.
Re: Pokémon Go
Well I've got a nice fat hole in the roster of stuff that refuses to show up ever in the area and it's fairly infuriating after how many months now? 8-9 since it came out. It was only a week or two ago I finally just saw a porygon in the game squatting in a gym.
The one that really surprised me above all else as that insane chancey I had was egg based is Gyrados. It's not a great one, but I caught it in the wild 1:1 on that, never seen one since. I was driving along as I keep it open for when I'm at a stop, happened to look down and saw the shadow, pulled a 180 on the road and went into a side neighborhood when I figured out where it was and finally fished it out of hiding and got it. It's got Twister as it's lame big attack and bite for the standard, but it's tough with a lot of HP.

Re: Pokémon Go
The updated app just hit the app store. I'm downloading now.
Re: Pokémon Go (Generation 2 out *NOW!*)
GEN 2 TRIGGERED
My first one!
PLUS!
Lapras has been nerfed, only Pokémon with changed based stats.
Charge moves cost at least 33 Energy now, meaning no attack has more then 3 charges.
Many moves had their power and durations changed (Solarbeam now has 180 power! and bar changes (Psychic now 1 bar, Body Slam 3 bars, etc.))
Many Gen 1 Pokémon have new quick and charge moves.
Every base capture rate for Gen 1 has been increased
Bonus Candy and Stardust for evolutions. 2 / 200 for 2nd stage and 7 / 400 for 3rd stage
Pokemon now have jump, dodge, or attack as options when being captured, along with a minimum time between of .5 seconds, and a maximum time between of 1.6 seconds
Moves added in new game master: Zap Cannon, Dragon Tail, Avalanche, Air Slash, Brave Bird, Sky Attack, Sand Tomb, Rock Blast, Infestation, Struggle (Bug), Silver Wind, Astonish, Hex, Night Shade, Iron Tail, Gyro Ball, Heavy Slam, Fire Spin, Overheat, Bullet Seed, Grass Knot, Energy Ball, Extrasensory, Futuresight, Mirror Coat, Outrage, Snarl, Crunch, Foul Play, and Hidden Power.
It has been noted that changing Eevee names to Sakura or Tamao (from the anime) will get you Espeon or Umbreon, just like in Gen 1! (it also probably only works one time per Eevee)
Plus, server connection issues being reported!
It feels just like last summer all over again! A fresh new game!
Of course there will be MORE TO COME. Stay tuned!

So you're saying I should have fun going on my walk tomorrow
Also, has anyone else noticed that our avatars heads now move left and right as if it's looking around while walking now? It's a small little change, but I like it.
