Hey, CRT, maybe hold back on the quotes a bit. Even with the bold, it's visually hard to tell what I'm looking at.

Along with basically any other "-ist" you can think of. But it's easier to label and dismiss someone that way.

EDIT: Ninja'd! Socialist and communist fit right in to what I said, though.
Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete, and they regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarian one-party state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties. Such a state is led by a strong leader—such as a dictator
I was half joking, but then....is it really that far off base? "Strong" might not be the right term, but other than that it seems on point.

Where is the fun in that? I'm pretty sure that Trump signed an executive order banning internet sarcasm excluding his own twitter anyway. I can't keep up.

Hey guys, going forward we are gonna have a blanket rule: do not do multiple quotes to different topics in this thread, OK?

That doesn't mean you can't quite members who have quoted others, and you can't break up quotes to respond to individual questions. To keep conversation moving, that is fine. But do not post multiple quotes from disparate articles, topics, and ideas in one post. Break out your topics into separate posts. It makes it much easier for everyone else to follow and respond if they desire.

Is it OK if I deliberately misconstrue this as only applying to linens?

No?

Ah well. I tried.

I have participated in dozens of arguments via conference call. This is by no means out of the ordinary, and the lawyers probably requested it. (The logistics of arguing in person before the Ninth Circuit on an expedited basis would be staggering, and it is probably better for both sides if they can present arguments remotely.)

CRTGAMER wrote:...you idiots!
I am a pretty smart guy, but judges appointed to a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals operate on a different level. Even when I do not agree with their judicial philosophy, I always respect their intellects and knowledge of the law immensely. I wouldn't refer to any of them as "idiots"...

EDIT: Double post to comply with the new rule.
