Not to mention that Trump revoked greencards to over 60,000 U.S. citizens without notice or provocation... something Obama did not do either.

Visas. Not green cards. Those are very different things. A visa merely confers the right to enter the country, and only last a few months. Green cards denote permanent residency. Furthermore, green cards are issued to non-citizens. Not U.S. citizens.

Not just semantics. Obama implemented a more thorough vetting process but notably did not halt any immigration and didn't include green card holders and some other categories. The objections to Trump's immigration EO aren't that he's slowing immigration. He's shut it tightly, left green card holders and existing employees in the cold, and doesn't have a rationale behind it or a plan forward.

Similar is not the same, and the contexts and rationales are very different. We will see how Dictator Trump fares in court.

One may not like the rationale, but I think it's a stretch to say there is no rationale or a plan forward.

Personally, I have no issues with a temporary pause, as stated before. Aspects were bungled, undoubtedly, but if I had a quarter for every time the government bungled something, I'd probably look like this.

I think you do let my posts get to you, lot of sand in your passion. As a Political Thread everyone has their opinions; no need to get angry in discussion. The Okay was not "okay to my opinion"; it is an acknowledgement to marurun statement leading to my question on years public opinion.

Its a term of one's perseverance in discussion. You are right in my Replies though. The auto correct is my personal multiple edits screwing my posts up even more.

@Sarge you are absolutely right, they were visas, which does not in any way make the situation better.

I feel the same way on the 90 day ban to get the vetting figured out. The rollout screwed up since some were already cleared before the shutdown.
