I once read a very entertaining description of Ann Coulter, that she was highly intelligent and very capable, a person who enjoyed pulling in people with reasonable and justifiable arguments...and would then follow them up with "And then we kill all the Muslim babies."

Yeah, she'd be a tough opponent for sure. I used to even be a little bit of a fan (shock! horror!), but I finally caught wise to what she was doing. Plus, you look at who she was backing in each election, and they didn't line up with what she was saying in public. I mean, c'mon, endorsing Chris Christie?

Yes. I am fairly certain that she is too intelligent for a good-faith belief in many of the positions that she has championed. They sure helps her sell books and get on TV, though!

Yeah, she's a very good writer. I've read one of her books, and it was meticulously researched and documented.

It's pretty clear that she's playing a character at this point. It's good for her brand. Plus, I honestly think she enjoys making people freak out. Ack's description is pretty on-the-nose.

I love that in an effort to try to patch up whatever this phone call issue /tweets that followed with the PM of Australia, during the press release, Trump's press secretary, Sean Spicer, called our Prime Minister, Malcom Turnbull, Trunbull, like 5 times.

Saying that Trump had nothing but respect for Australia and it's people.
