The "America First" is not a Nazi term or White supremacy as some liberals claim.[...]I know you are in Spain; your President priority one would be the same, your country first.

Not only do liberals claim that term, Nazis also do and they use it more than everyone else. Haven't you noticed that if you look for "America first" in google a good chunk of the pictures are caricatures of jews, people opposing the American intervention in WWII and pictures of the KKK? The term had a very long and very nasty history before Trump started to use it.

By the way, there's only one political party in Spain that claims "Spain first". Here's what they look like:

Even though the connotations of the past, President Trump procalmation of "America First" of course does mean ALL Americans. The Liberals know that, yet spin the statement as something evil.

When I was talking with other Greek people about how stupid nationalism is, I liked to tell them to think how this behaviour would look if it was about an individual:

ME FIRST BABY.

Now if you heard a person speak about himself like that, you would think he's a total asshole. And that obviously he is wrong. But make this discussion about ANY group (city, state, family, country, members of a club, race, religion, whatever) and suddenly, they think it's appropriate and that it makes sense.

The funny thing is that there is a higher chance that those statements are actually true about at least one man and woman in the entire planet, than any said group. Because groups are made of individuals, so their good and bad points are made up of the sum of their parts. And it's statistically impossible for those statements to be true of ANY group, except perhaps the Justice Leauge.

Honestly the only thing that will fix this government is for the people to realize how shity the options are that get handed to us by the Democrat and Republican party. When you let the rich and elite choose the candidates from within their own ranks is it any freaking surprise we get results like this? As a nation we seem to love conflict so putting all our faith in two parties is easy since it's easier to pick a side when there are only two real choices, but really people need to realize this is a system we are forcing ourselves into. However let's put it bluntly an independent party even having a chance in hell would take an ungodly amount of work/money with the way country is at the moment. In all likelihood the only way the Republican and Democratic parties will ever release their stranglehold on this country is if there is a catastrophic failure and collapse of government at which point we would all most likely be fucked anyways. Hopefully this president will serve as a wake up call to everyone including the political leadership, citizens of this great country, and the global community as a whole given the insane amount of disruption it's causing both here in the U.S. and around the world. I pray we don't just brush it off as a temporary inconvenience in the long run as we further divide ourselves.

To be honest I wanted Trump to win this election. You know why because with him at least there will be change whether good or bad and it's forcing people to face the realities of the world we live in currently. To long have politicians babied the public delaying or avoiding hard choices as they cling to their positions. A shake up was needed and that is indeed what we are getting. With any hope people will wake the fuck up and come next election find someone who we as a nation can all stand behind.

Back to my hidy hole to wait for you all to either kill each other off or through some miracle find a middle ground sometime in the next 4 years.

The issue, CRT, is that you are using the thread to parrot half-truths and outright falsehoods that you read on sites like politicalinsider.com. You discredit any information that conflicts with your world view. It is as impossible and frustrating to respond to your posts as it is to respond to someone who argues that the sky is green. It is just too much effort, and as much as I truly appreciate your enthusiasm in the video game related threads, I think that your posts in the politics thread really have a negative impact on the discussion there.

Seriously, this thread is just too much effort since CRT started spamming it with non-sense and videos of imbeciles yelling in the street...
